Focusing is driven by a dual actuator system pairing a Voice Coil Motor (VCM) for floating rear focus with a Nano USM for rapid, near-silent autofocus tracking. The optical layout incorporates two Ultra-Low Dispersion (UD) elements and two aspherical elements to eliminate chromatic aberrations, spherical distortion, and color fringing, complemented by Air Sphere Coating (ASC), Super Spectra Coating (SSC), and a protective front fluorine coating to combat flare and ghosting.
Designed for tactile handling, the lens barrel features a manual iris ring for fluid aperture adjustments during filming, a dedicated AF/MF toggle, and full-time manual focus override.
