NEEWER CN-160 LED Dimmable Digital Camera / Camcorder 5600K Video Light

The Neewer CN-160 LED Dimmable Digital Camera / Camcorder 5600K Video Light is a compact, on-camera LED light panel designed to supplement lighting for photography and video, compatible with Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Panasonic, Sony, Samsung, and Olympus digital SLR cameras and camcorders. It mounts to any standard hot shoe found on most DSLRs or digital video cameras, as well as tripods and light stands equipped with a hot shoe mount or 1/4″ thread, making it a versatile addition to a photo or video kit.

The panel uses 160 LED lights to provide a color temperature of 5600K, adjustable to 3200K using the included color filter, with an additional diffusion filter available to soften the light output for shorter-distance shooting; without the filters attached, the light functions as more of a concentrated spotlight suited to longer-distance illumination. A rotary switch controls both power and brightness, allowing dimming from 0 to 100% for precise control over output intensity. Maximum power draw is rated at 9.6 watts, with a luminous flux of 660 lumens and an effective light distance of up to 20 ft. (6m); illumination drops off with distance, from approximately 900 lux at 1m down to 40 lux at 5m.

Power comes from a battery slot compatible with Sony-type L-series NP-F550/F750/F970 batteries or 6x AA batteries (both sold separately), rated for approximately 60-80 minutes of runtime on a compatible rechargeable battery. Build quality includes an ABS plastic housing, and the light weighs approximately 8.57 oz. (measuring 141 x 62 x 150mm), keeping it lightweight and portable for on-camera or stand-mounted use.
