Nikon FTZ Mount Adapter

The Nikon FTZ Mount Adapter allows Nikon F-mount lenses to be used on Nikon Z-mount mirrorless camera bodies, providing a broad compatibility bridge between Nikon’s DSLR lens ecosystem and its mirrorless system. The adapter maintains full electronic communication between compatible lenses and the camera body, preserving autofocus, vibration reduction, and EXIF data where supported by the attached lens. Phase-detect autofocus is functional with AF-S and AF-P lenses, while older AF and AF-D lenses are limited to contrast-detect autofocus or manual focus only. Lenses without a CPU contact, such as non-AI and older manual focus optics, are limited to manual exposure modes. The adapter incorporates a tripod mounting foot to help balance longer and heavier F-mount lenses on the Z-mount body. No optical elements are present in the adapter, meaning there is no impact on image quality or effective focal length.
