Its 3.5mm TRS output also makes it compatible with a wide range of other recording devices and wireless transmitters that supply plug-in power through a standard TRS microphone input.

At its core is a discreet 4.5mm sub-miniature omnidirectional condenser capsule, small enough to disappear on a lapel, tie, or hidden clip under clothing while still delivering the broadcast-grade speech capture demanded by professional voice work. The omnidirectional polar pattern provides a full 360 degrees of sound pickup, keeping capture consistent regardless of how the subject turns their head during a shot, an important advantage over more directional lav designs where dropout can occur when the subject turns away from the mic.

The condenser element and active JFET electronics deliver a wide 20Hz to 20kHz frequency response, with a typical signal-to-noise ratio of 67dB and a maximum SPL rating of 110dB, keeping even raised or emotive dialogue clean and free of distortion.
