The Sony a7 IV is a full-frame mirrorless camera built around a 33-megapixel back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor paired with the BIONZ XR image processor. It is designed as a hybrid stills and video platform, offering 4K video recording up to 60fps in Super 35mm mode and 4K up to 30fps in full-frame mode, along with 10-bit 4:2:2 color output via HDMI. The camera features Sony’s fast hybrid autofocus system with real-time tracking and real-time Eye AF for humans and animals. Five-axis in-body image stabilization (IBIS) provides up to 5.5 stops of shake compensation. A fully articulating touchscreen LCD, dual card slots, and a high-resolution OLED electronic viewfinder round out the feature set for a versatile shooting experience.
