The Sony FE 28-70mm f/2 GM is a full-frame standard zoom lens built natively for Sony’s E-mount mirrorless system and positioned within Sony’s G Master series, representing the higher tier of Sony’s FE lens lineup. Covering a focal range from 28mm to 70mm with a constant f/2 maximum aperture throughout, it is one of the very few standard zoom lenses available with a constant f/2 aperture, providing a significant light gathering advantage over conventional constant f/2.8 standard zooms and approaching the light gathering capability of fast prime lenses across the zoom range.
