Tenba Axis 32L Backpack (Black)

The Tenba Axis 32L Backpack (Black) is a military-inspired tactical camera backpack designed to secure a mobile photo studio while keeping the wearer comfortable, built for photographers, filmmakers, and content creators who carry substantial gear into the field. Tenba’s tactical Axis bags were inspired by the ultra-durable bags the company has produced for the military throughout its 40-plus-year history.

The backpack holds 1-2 mirrorless, DSLR, or cine cameras (including pro-size bodies with a grip or booster) along with 7-9 lenses, up to an attached 400mm f/2.8, plus a laptop up to 17 inches, and also accommodates a DJI Mavic or other compact drone. By rotating the backpack from the wearer’s back to front with its left side facing upward, it can be opened without fully removing it, and three points of camera access, top, side, and rear, give photographers flexibility in how they reach their gear.

Reflective MOLLE webbing runs across the exterior, allowing limitless expandability with Tenba Tools accessories such as lens capsules, battery pouches, and memory card wallets, as well as military-standard pouches and other MOLLE-compatible gear. Two front compression straps can each hold and secure a tripod, monopod, or trekking pole, while a large side pocket accommodates a water bottle or similarly sized item. The bag also includes a hidden neoprene pocket compatible with an Apple AirTag or Tile Bluetooth tracker, a first for a camera bag.

Handling centers on an Airflow harness combining ventilating 3D air mesh with Tenba’s auto-adjusting Pivot-Fit straps, along with dual sternum straps to improve load balancing across the chest. Build quality includes a water-resistant exterior coating along with an included seam-sealed rain cover for use in heavy rain, and the bag’s main compartment uses adjustable, hook-and-loop interior dividers to customize gear layout.

The backpack measures approximately 13.75 x 22.25 x 9.75 in. (35 x 57 x 25cm) externally, with interior dimensions of approximately 12.75 x 21.25 x 6.75 in. (32 x 54 x 17cm), and weighs approximately 5.5 lb (2.5kg).
