The Westcott FJ100 is an ultra-compact, 100Ws off-camera strobe designed for wedding, portrait, and high-volume event photographers. Engineered to the physical size of a soda can, the FJ100 is the most portable fixture in Westcott’s FJ series. Powered by the included FJ Mini 3200mAh AC/DC lithium-ion battery, it delivers an industry-leading 700+ full-power flashes per charge with fast recycle times ranging from 0.01 to 1.6 seconds. The unit features continuous power delivery over USB-C and shares cross-battery compatibility with the FJ100 Speedlight.
Built into Westcott’s 2.4 GHz wireless ecosystem, the FJ100 supports 31 channels, 16 groups, and wireless trigger range up to 328 feet, complemented by color-coded LED indicators on the flash body for easy group management. The strobe incorporates an automatic and manual 24-200mm zoom head, TTL auto-exposure, High-Speed Sync (HSS) up to 1/8000s, freeze flash durations down to 1/40,400s (t0.5), and burst speeds up to 60 fps. Onboard control is managed via a vivid LCD touchscreen, while light modification is supported through native Twist-Lock modifiers, 8mm umbrella mounts, or optional Bowens adapters.
