Enhanced Camera Control
The Shinobi II offers extensive camera control via its USB-C port, compatible with the latest mirrorless and DSLR cameras from Canon, Panasonic, Sony, and Z CAM’s E2 line. It also includes a 2.5mm LANC port for additional compatibility. This control functionality will expand with future firmware updates to support cameras from FUJIFILM, Nikon, OM System, and Sigma.
Touch to Focus (NEW): With AtomOS 11.03.00, you can directly set your camera’s focus point via the touchscreen. Compatible cameras include Canon EOS R6 Mark II/R1/R5 Mark II/R7, FUJIFILM GFX100/X-S20, Nikon Z9/Z8, Panasonic LUMIX S5 II/S5 II X, and Sony a7 IV/a7S III/ZV-E10 II/FX3/FX30.

Camera Status Indicators: Monitor your camera’s internal record settings, battery status, and remaining recording time at a glance. A red edge display indicates when the camera is internally recording, whether triggered by the camera or the Shinobi II.
AtomOS 11 & Advanced Monitoring Tools
The Shinobi II includes the latest Atomos AtomOS 11, featuring a new, more logical layout and easy-to-navigate interface. Utilize its built-in exposure tools such as false color, waveforms, zebras, and histograms to adjust your camera’s aperture, shutter speed/angle, and ISO, achieving perfect exposure on every shot.
Superior Display and Connectivity
The 5.2″ touchscreen display is 50% brighter than the original Shinobi, reaching a peak brightness of 1500 cd/m², ensuring excellent readability indoors or in direct sunlight. It features an HDMI 1.4 input that supports monitoring signals up to DCI/UHD 4K30 and 1080p60.
Benefit from HDR HLG and HDR PQ monitoring modes to preview your camera’s Log output in HDR. You can also upload up to eight custom LUTs to the monitor’s built-in storage to preview your shots with your preferred looks. A variety of built-in cinema-style and social media-focused frame guides help you perfectly compose your shots, including presets for common aspect ratios.
Lightweight Design & Flexible Power
The Shinobi II has been designed with a slimmer form factor, weighing only 7.4 oz. It includes added locating holes alongside its 1/4″-20 threads for secure, anti-twist mounting. A single L-series battery plate has been centrally placed on the back to improve balance and maneuverability. The included HDMI/USB-C locking adapter allows you to use Atomos’ new line of locking cables, preventing accidental disconnections.
Power the Shinobi II using an L-series/NP-F style battery, an optional battery eliminator (dummy battery) with a DC barrel to D-Tap cable, or via a USB-C PD charger with 10W input. The monitor also supports USB-C PD 13W output, allowing you to charge/power your camera while utilizing the Shinobi II’s camera control features.
