The monitor accepts DCI 4K and UHD 4K video signals over HDMI, featuring 4K-to-1080p oversampling to produce clean, sharp, high-fidelity monitoring images with reduced moiré and edge artifacts.
Distinguishing itself from traditional displays, the LH7P incorporates built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless control modules that interface directly with select Sony Alpha mirrorless cameras and Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Cameras (BMPCC 4K/6K/6K Pro). Operators can adjust essential camera parameters—including recording start/stop, ISO, aperture, shutter speed, and focus point selection—directly on the monitor’s responsive touchscreen interface. The monitor supports custom 3D LUT importing via USB, with the capability to send LUT-corrected signals downstream through the 1080p60 HDMI loop output. A full suite of production monitoring tools is integrated into the OS, including custom freeze-frame JPG image overlays for continuity matching, real-time vertical shooting stretch adjustments with HDMI output, flexible anamorphic de-squeeze ratios, dual-stage waveform and RGB signal analysis before and after LUT application, and customizable peaking frames.
