ProMaster Key Grip Video Head: Precision Control with Integrated Tools
The ProMaster Key Grip Video Head is a small, sophisticated video head featuring a unique extendable control handle with integrated hex key storage, ensuring you’re never without essential tools. It provides smooth pan and tilt adjustments for precise camera movements.

Innovative Design and Ergonomics
The removable control handle boasts a soft, comfortable grip and extends with a simple twist-lock mechanism. Unscrew the aluminum cap from the end of the handle’s grip to reveal a set of hex keys! Two 4mm hex keys can be used together to adjust tripod leg bolts or individually to secure the included quick release plate to a camera or cage. A 2.5mm hex key is also included for adjusting grub screws when mounting the head to a tripod or monopod.

This two-way head offers separate panning and tilt movements, complete with etched scales for when precision is required. The tilt adjustment features tension control for exceptionally smooth motions, and silver touch points help you quickly identify the control knobs. Plus, it’s built for cold weather, rated for use in temperatures as low as -4°F / -20°C.

Versatile Quick Release System
The Key Grip Video Head comes with the excellent ProMaster 3398 Dovetail (Arca-type) Quick Release Plate. This QR plate includes both ¼”-20 and 3/8”-16 mounting bolts, which can be installed using either a flathead screwdriver or one of the 4mm hex keys stored in the handle. The plate also has a removable, spring-loaded anti-twist pin.

Measuring over 101mm long, this QR plate makes it easy to properly balance your camera rig, and a scale on the QR platform allows for quick and repeatable setups. The QR platform is also repositionable, letting you change its sliding direction from front-to-back to side-to-side – particularly useful for mounting cameras with a cage or L-bracket attached. The plate features a safety bolt design to prevent accidental camera slippage, and its Dovetail connection is compatible with a wide variety of plates and accessories from ProMaster and other brands.

With a load capacity of 6.6 lbs (3 kg), the Key Grip Video Head is ideal for mirrorless video rigs and performs exceptionally well for still photography. Many telephoto lenses with Dovetail style (Arca-compatible) tripod collars work seamlessly with the Key Grip head, allowing for excellent tracking in wildlife photography.
