The Sony FX6 is a compact, full-frame cinema camera developed for solo operators, documentary filmmakers, gimbal setups, and multi-camera production workflows within Sony’s Cinema Line. Powered by a 10.2MP back-illuminated 4K full-frame Exmor R CMOS sensor and BIONZ XR processing engine, the FX6 delivers over 15 stops of dynamic range, dual-base ISO performance (ISO 800 / ISO 12,800, expandable to 409,600), and internal 10-bit 4:2:2 XAVC-I recording. It incorporates Sony’s S-Cinetone color science for rich, natural skin tones without extensive color grading, alongside S-Log3 and S-Gamut3.Cine modes.

Designed for high-speed performance and low-light capability, the camera features an electronic variable ND filter system (1/4 to 1/128), 627-point phase-detection Fast Hybrid AF with Real-time Eye AF and Face Detection, and high-frame-rate recording up to 120p in 4K UHD and 240p in Full HD. The ultra-lightweight magnesium alloy chassis weighs under 2 lb, featuring dual card slots compatible with CFexpress Type A and SDXC media, 4-channel audio support, timecode I/O, 12G-SDI output, and 16-bit RAW output via SDI (with support for external Blackmagic RAW recording via HDMI).

This FX6 camera kit includes the original smart top handle, smart side grip, 3.5″ LCD monitor screen, screen hood, camera body cap, rechargeable battery, and charger.
