Neewer NW550 Manual Flash

The Neewer NW550 Manual Flash is a simple, competent shoe-mount speedlight offering fixed 35mm coverage and completely manual exposure control, compatible with Canon, Nikon, Panasonic, Olympus, Pentax, Sony cameras with a Mi Hot Shoe, and other DSLRs and mirrorless cameras equipped with a standard hot shoe (not compatible with the Canon EOS Rebel SL3/250D, Rebel T7/1500D/2000D, Rebel T100/3000D, or 4000D).

The flash offers a guide number of 114 ft. (35m) at ISO 100 and 35mm, with manual output control across 8 levels from 1/1 to 1/128 power, displayed and adjusted via an LCD screen with a D-pad and buttons. Flash duration ranges from 1/300 to 1/20,000 second, with a recycle time of approximately 0.1 to 5 seconds, and the flash head tilts from 0 to 90 degrees while rotating a full 270 degrees for flexible bounce-flash positioning. Flash exposure compensation is adjustable from -3 to +3 EV in 1/3-stop increments.

Flash modes include standard Manual (M) operation along with S1 and S2 optical slave modes for off-camera use as a secondary light source, plus a Multi (stroboscopic) setting for capturing multiple exposures of a moving subject within a single frame. Built-in reflector and diffuser panels help shape and soften light output, and additional features include PC sync connectivity, a power-saving standby function, an external charging port, and both standard and systematic overheating protection.
