NOTE: Visible scuffs near the filter threads and some rougher scuffing on the body. Autofocus works and focuses fine, but the lens makes an unusual noise during operation.
The Canon RF 100-400mm f/5.6-8 IS USM is a telephoto zoom lens native to Canon’s RF mount system, designed for use with Canon’s full-frame and APS-C RF-mount mirrorless cameras. The variable aperture ranges from f/5.6 at the wide end to f/8 at full telephoto extension. Optical Image Stabilizer provides up to 5.5 stops of shake correction when used standalone, and up to 6 stops when paired with compatible in-body stabilized Canon bodies via coordinated IS. Autofocus is handled by Canon’s Nano USM motor, offering fast and quiet focusing performance well-suited to both stills and video. The optical design includes one UD lens element to control chromatic aberration across the zoom range. The lens is compatible with Canon RF mount extenders, allowing for additional reach beyond 400mm. On APS-C RF-mount bodies such as the EOS R7 or R10, the effective focal length range extends to approximately 160-640mm equivalent.
