Autofocus is handled by Tamron’s RXD (Rapid eXtra-silent stepping Drive) motor, delivering fast, precise, and virtually silent focus acquisition, fully supporting Sony’s native high-speed tracking features, including Eye AF and Direct Manual Focus (DMF) for quick switching between autofocus and manual focus.
